Scripture reading: Genesis 6.5-9 The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the Lord said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth - men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air - for I am grieved that I have made them." But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.
I can make a difference when I........
1.) Listen to God's voice.
2.) Live for God's purpose. Noah did everything just as God commanded him. (Genesis 6.22)
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed - not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence - continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. (Philippians 2. 12-13)
3.) Love God in worship.
Noah was a balanced believer. He walked with the Lord. He worked for the Lord. He witnessed for the Lord in his worship.
